Registration Awards

All postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate students are eligible to receive registration awards that may cover up to two-thirds of the registration fee. To apply, please prepare (1) an abstract of the presentation you intend to submit to the meeting (see Abstract Guidelines below for details), (2) a paragraph explaining how attending the meeting will benefit your career, and (3) a letter of recommendation from your primary advisor, including a statement on available funds. Please send the following materials to westernphotosynthesis@gmail.com by November 14th.

If applying for a registration award, please do not register for the conference until you receive notification of the award decision by November 21st. If accepted, we will provide you with a registration code and instructions on how to proceed with registration.

All applicants will receive a $50 discounted registration fee.


Abstract and Poster Guidelines

Abstracts: Please submit a one-page abstract of your presentation in PDF format (8.5 x 11 in. dimensions) with (1) the title of your poster/talk, (2) a complete author list, and (3) author affiliations. Please note that the uploaded PDF will be used directly in our program booklet, so accuracy is crucial.

Feel free to be creative with all other aspects of the presentation of your abstract!

Posters: Your poster should fit on a 36 x 48 in. poster board, preferably in portrait-style orientation.
